Synthesis of 14H-dibenzo[a.j]xanthenes using Co@pyr/APTZCMNPs as a novel heterogeneous nanocatalyst

Authors

Abstract:

Co@pyr/APTZCMNPs was synthesized, and some of its characteristic analyses, such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were investigated. The results indicated that this heterogeneous catalyst was an excellent and reusable system to synthesize of 14H-dibenzo[a.j]xanthene derivatives through a one-pot condensation of β-naphthol and arylaldehydes at 90 °C under solvent-free conditions. Due to the magnetic nature of the catalyst, it could be easily recovered by an external magnetic field and comfortable reused at least five times without loss of its catalytic activity. High yields of the desired product, easy recovery of the catalyst and solvent-free conditions were some of the advantages of our methodology.

Aluminum Oxide Nanoparticle as a Valuable Heterogeneous Nanocatalyst in the Synthesis of 2-Aminothiazole Scaffolds

An efficient methodology for the preparation of 2-aminothiazoles is achieved by one-pot reaction of methylcarbonyls, thiourea and iodine in the presence of an aluminum oxide nanoparticle as an active nanocatalyst at 85 °C in DMSO solvent. Al2O3 nanoparticles have been prepared via co-precipitation method and their structures were confirmed using Fourier transform infrared radiation (FT-TR), X-r...

Nickel ferrite as a recyclable nanocatalyst for synthesis of novel highly substituted 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives

Highly substituted 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives were synthesized by four-component reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate and various phenylhydrazine, using nickel ferrite as a recyclable nanocatalyst by a grinding method under solvent-free and thermal conditions. The reaction has the advantages of good yields, less pollution, ease of separation of the...
